Oakcrest High School is a good school, I enjoyed my years that I spent there. The teachers and the students is what made the years that I spent there more enjoyable. I made some very good friends during my time there and o had some great teachers that helped me throughout my high school years. I enjoyed te sports program, I made some very good friends and some consider family with my teammates. Playing sports at Oakcrest High School made me a better person, sports make me more of a leader. The one thing that I would say Oakcrest High School need to improve is the after school programs; I believe that the school need more after school programs opportunities for the students to participate in and they need more after school buses available for the athletes and the students that stay after school for academic help.
Review Oakcrest High School
From starting as a freshman to soon graduating from Oakcrest High School. I've had many great experiences and have met even more amazing people during my time here. The teachers care about each student in their class and work hard to see that their students strive and succeed. They treat you as if they were your own child and give you the upmost respect and will always be there to help. The School Spirit or "Falcon Pride" as my school calls it, is very energetic and makes every student be able to call Oakcrest a home of theirs. I am one of these many who feel Oakcrest is a home of mine. From doing marching band, tennis, being in National Honor Society. I have felt welcomed in all of those and the Love for Oakcrest is truly there from each and every student.
So far my experience at Oakcrest High School has been great! We may not have the best looking school but we do in fact have the best people. Everyone is so welcoming and caring for one another. You're not afraid to ask for help when needed. But my favorite part is band! Oakcrest by far has the best band program I could ask for. Jazz band, marching band, concert band, honor band, etc.. You have so many options to find your strengths and weaknesses. I do them all! The band program is wonderful, but the students and teachers I share it with are even better. Joining band is like joining one big musical family. You feel welcomed and loved. We go out of our way to help one another. Directors will help you even in their own time, just to help you better yourself. We work together and we accomplish great things as a whole. This is why I love Oakcrest High School. I'm proud to be a falcon.
