Although Oakcrest may be small and the oldest in the district, it's definitely one of the best. The teachers and faculty are just the greatest people you'll ever meet. They never turn down anyone who needs help or just needs some cheering up. The student atmosphere is pretty good too. When it comes to football games and spirit week, students are always seen participating in these events. We have the best school spirit in South Jersey. The Biomedical and JROTC Magnet Programs are definitely what attracts most students. The Biomed program is what made me choose this high school than the other high schools in the district. For four years now in the program, I can totally say that I've learned plenty and has inspired me to pursue a medical career. I can also say that the drama club is one of the most enjoyable activities in the school. The plays and musicals are always fun to be in.

The moment I stepped into Oakcrest, I knew I was home. Through my four years spent there, I was able to create everlasting friendships with an array of people, build character through the opportunity and challenges I had to face, and most importantly, received a quality education with teachers who saw more than just numerical grades. The school spirit is unmatched and I had the greatest moments of my life with my fellow peers through the opportunities given to me. I never felt alone at Oakcrest; the students banded together whenever a crisis occurred and were there for each other every step of the way. I hope in the future, students are not just connected by crisis but through good as well.
I loved going to Oakcrest. It gave me a family and very close friends. I loved how everyone is there for one another and looks out for each other. The teachers are always there for you, never gives up on you and always believes in you. It such a safe environment, that it feels like a second home to me. I would like to see the grade levels connect better with each other instead of thinking their too cool for each other. Other than that I loved my experience there and truly think it's the best high school.
