I loved Oak Park High! I would love to see more resources for students with unfortunate circumstances. While in high school, my plan was to get involved in any way possible I could. I did choir, theater, sports, leadership, and many more and I loved it all! The only reason to give 4 stars instead of five would be because of all of the cliques in our school that tend to make it less enjoyable.

Oak Park High School for the most part is an average everyday high school. Not too different from most. Honestly I believe the one thing my school could benefit from is being more open to student and teacher opinions. The administration here looks at the numbers and statistics over the opinions from the people who are living in the system and see more of the ground level prospectives. Truthfully I have talked to teachers and hall monitors and they seem to agree, but due to the nature of their jobs are too scared to come forward and tell their bosses or admin that there could be more changes made for the better. I think certain students ruin that connection that could be made and be used to benefit everyone.
The teachers made it easy to want to come to school everyday! Not only were they motivating and inspiring, but they truly cared for the students' education and overall wellbeing. Now Oak Park is named a model school--no wonder!
