The school was brand new when I started there. They were still trying to establish a system of classes, teachers, leadership, food services, and other services. Everything was rather confusing.

The academics at this school were amazing! The instructors really pushed students to work hard and do their best at everything. The curriculum was matched to the abilities of the student. There were different levels of classes for intensive students or advanced students. With having that type of curriculum the school proved they had the student's best interest in mind. The schedule of the classes were perfect because you had odd and even days, alternating classes every other day. This gave the student time to focus on four classes at a time, instead of eight, and not be too overwhelmed. There was a variety of electives offered, such as culinary arts, woodshop, art, gym, dance, and drama. These classes also focused on making sure the students reached their best potential and gained knowledge in these subjects. I do feel that gym could have been a little more focused on educating the students and teaching them more, but they did do an ok job.
The teachers at this school were outstanding! They were all very helpful to students and would answer any questions they may have. They had very nice teaching styles by using various type of technology and several ways of learning the material. They had a great interest in the students and gave them all the resources and information they needed to succeed. The teachers were very good with communication to students, parents, and other staff. The teachers were very good at grading, most were quick.
