Best school and best teacher create best kids

Food is decent and the building is older but charming.

What else can you ask for? Study hard, only top students and clinton rejects get in - so goooooo luck!

I graduated from Lab MS this year (2019). I got my first choice for both my specialized and nonspecialized high school lists. I credit this to Lab, the teachers are incredible, hardworking, lovely people and I loved and felt a personal connection with almost every teacher I had and they still remember me (not just my name, me!). I met some of my best friends here and I have grown as both a student and a person. The two things I will say are most students are focused on academics, so the sports teams are not so great (saying this I was on the basketball team for all three years and although we lost a lot I had a blast!). The facility is okay and we do share a building with Lab HS and Museum HS. I was nervous to share with high schoolers but I soon came to realize you can have no contact with them if you want. The gym and bathrooms are great but other than that the building can be seen as quite drab but it didn't bother me. I would definitely recommend Lab, I would choose it 100x again.
Lab offers a great education for middle schoolers looking to pursue a career or passion in the math or science fields. It has strong academics, however it holds unrealistic expectations for its students.
