My experience at Noxapater Attendance Center was okay. The school work should be made tougher in order to prepare kids for college. They should also teach more basic life classes such as finances, and loans etc.
Most teachers graduated from here. Principal graduated from the school. Most students are 3rd generation students. The community is not welcoming to outsiders. That also travels into the school. There is no extra curricular school functions unless it is sports. Some teachers teach, some don't. Most kids play sports however the schools potential for athletic is almost zero under the current administration and coaches. Basketball has promise if the coach stays around. One of the few bright spots is the cafeteria. The food is above average.
Out of all the schools that I've attended, Noxapater is the best that I have attended due to the teachers being wonderful, the school being small, and the students aren't as cruel as my other schools. I would change how there is always something that needs to be fixed. The school has a lot of issues when it comes to the buildings and it can be annoying at times.
We love the family atmosphere. The staffs willingness to go above and beyond for the students! It is a very safe environment. It's nice to have k-12 at one school!
Only a few teachers prepare their students for college. A few teachers are unqualified for the job, they either don't know the material or are to lazy to teach.
The food we are served often tastes terrible. We need a much larger variety of healthy as well as tasty options.
Only the basic sports are offered so there is not very much variety.
Noxapater has only a small amount of clubs that are available to the student body. I think the experience would be better if more were offered.
The workload is not very stressful at this school due to the fact that many teachers don't give much work. In some subjects the curriculum is very educational and offers a good learning experience, in others it is sparse.
There are few security measures at this school and hardly any health precautions. If injured there is no nurse to aid you until emergency personnel arrive. No campus police or security is near.
The learning experience is bare when it comes down to certain classes due to the revers that teach it. The school itself would be much better if more classes and better opportunities were offered.
Many of the teaching staff at the school are very biased toward certain students and are unfair when it comes to grades and disciplinary measures. Favorites are often picked in regards to sports athletes.
The rest room facilities in the school are rather poor. School lunches are rather unappetizing and many students do not like them. For us to have college prep course we have to travel to another school and take them there. The sports we are offered are the bare minimal amount, those being football, softball, baseball, track, basketball, and power lifting. There is readily available way to access tutoring at this school. If you were to need it, it would have to be sought out personally. Noxapater Attendance Center needs many alterations for the better.
not many sports to choose from
not enough clubs and activities available
