I transferred to Notre Dame High School at the beginning of the junior year, coming from their rival school. At my former high school, the sense of community was not present and communication was hardly there compared to what my family has now with Notre Dame. This school changed me for the better and gave me better work ethic, better friends, and a community I felt proud to be a part of. From not participating in school activities to being a part of the mock trial team, theater board and member of key club, high school became a much happier place here.

My expereince at Notre Dame had its ups and its downs. The staff and administration are very caring and definitely show how much they care for the students of the school. Since it is an ipad school, the ipads have been a very useful tool but i am a little old fashioned and would prefer textbooks. As ipads came along, the good teachers were leaving. Many of the teachers at Notre Dame do not teach and just project videos for the students to learn. There are some good teachers but others have shown to be lazy. The students are very united since it is a very small school. Everyone knows about everyone, it is a family environment.
I love the teachers and people! With my 4 years of being here I wouldn't trade it for anything, I made so many friendships and memories I won't forget. And I feel like it has prepared me for the future that awaits after high school.
