Notre Dame is a co-ed, college-preparatory high school that prepares students for a life of FAITH, SCHOLASTIC SUCCESS, and COMMUNITY. Since our founding in 1956, our private, Catholic campus welcomes all students and centers around our charism: Cor Unum et Anima--One Heart and One Spirit. Recognized as an Apple Distinguished School, Notre Dame utilizes a one-to-one iPad learning environment to encourage students to innovate beyond the classroom. Our community is focused on developing and encouraging a culture of exploration, and providing students with opportunities to apply their learning in real world environments on their journey to create, learn, and grow.

I have been teaching at Notre Dame for 25 years ... One of the reasons I never left is because here at Notre Dame, I found my second family. Notre Dame is a great school to work for! The teachers have the freedom to teach and share their knowledge in a safety, friendly, and clean environment.
Notre Dame is a small Catholic school where everyone knows and supports each other. Our Faith and the presence of our Lord is clearly tangible on our campus.

Review Notre Dame High School

I am a senior at Notre Dame High School. The community at Notre Dame is a community that you will not see in many other high schools, especially public high school. With a small knit community, there were so many opportunities for me to become involved. With these opportunities, I’ve been able grow immensely throughout the last three years. I’ve had President and Vice-president roles in Astronomy and Environmental Club. I’m also a part of ASB and Engagement leaders, something I would’ve been too shy to commit to my freshman year. I owe my growth to the Notre Dame staff. Mr. Norman taught me what it truly means to be a human following the Catholic faith and built my intellectual thinking skills. Mr. Cooney motivated me to change my mindset and made me an unrecognizable student. Mrs. Arguelles helped ease my fear of speaking in front of big crowds, and Mr. Nelson taught my entire class an unspeakable amount of life lessons while preparing us for our AP exam. Much more than just a school

Overall, I believe Notre Dame High School to be an excellent place for character development and community enrichment. However, I do feel they can improve upon certain areas such as, faith based engagement, more disciplined education, creating a balanced (not overwhelming) extra curricular environment, giving more attention to their performing arts departments (hiring more teachers, higher funding, etc), and overall, I feel that this school can improve their organization/miscommunication as a whole.
