Attending Notre Dame High School has been the best experience for our daughter! She is so happy with her decision to switch schools. It truly was life-changing! Notre Dame has everything she was looking for: Smaller classes, teachers who care and academics that have a direct impact on her future success. During the unexpected pandemic the leadership and cooperation from the principal, teachers, administrators and students has been inspirational. Without missing a beat, online learning fell successfully into place. Communication has been exemplary. The alumni is also incredible! One restaurant owner made an abundance of take-out for all. That's the essence of all associated with ND. They care, give and love. The motto "Once in Lancer Family always a Lancer Family" rings true. The integrity of the school is sound. The experience priceless!
As a parent of three ND graduates, I found Notre Dame to be a safe, nurturing, and intellectually challenging environment for my children. The teachers are fabulous and the atmosphere for learning is evident. The administration is caring and responsive and the faculty and staff go beyond the daily classroom instruction to be there for their students -- whether it be after school help, moderator of a club(s), or cheering on students at a sporting event -- you won't find a more dedicated administration/faculty/staff. My children were given the tools to succeed - not only academically but socially and spiritually. Notre Dame's campus ministry and service/outreach programs are second to none! While at Notre Dame they were given the opportunity to serve others - near and far. The lifelong lessons they learned through these programs remain a big part of their lives today. Notre Dame also gave them the gift of making life long friendships. Notre Dame is truly a family!
I’m a teacher and will speak as both an educator and parent of a sophomore and 8th grader who will attend ND in the fall. Notre Dame is an excellent school. First, the entire staff goes above and beyond to support kids- both those who excel, to those who need extra supports, and everyone in between. The administration is excellent. I have personally worked for several principals, and Mr. Cip is a true leader. My daughter transferred mid year and the staff, administration, and students couldn’t have been more welcoming to our entire family. My daughter is excelling in her classes and has made amazing friends quickly! My daughter had so many opportunities to join fantastic clubs to make friends and get involved at ND! Can’t say enough about how lucky we feel to be part of the Notre Dame community!
