Notre Dame High School has a family atmosphere. The students are very respectful and polite. The school is a bit run down, even though class rooms have been redone, there is still more work needed. Academically, they could offer more challenging classes. The one downfall is that faculty changes a lot in certain areas of study. Overall, have one student graduated and a junior currently enrolled and both were and are extremely there and could not imagine themselves any where else.

My overall experience at Notre Dame High School has been very positive. From my first visit to the school, it was very welcoming. They say that it is a family atmosphere but we truly are a family. I have created bonds with administration, teachers, coaches and students that will last a lifetime. The discipline has helped build character that will follow me throughout my life. I would change the scheduling to make it easier to take classes that may help in your choice for a college major.
The faculty are there because they care since they don't make a lot of money. I also think they are dedicated teachers and care about the students. There is an element of family at Notre Dame High School which is a nice feeling. The athletics are great, but sometimes favoritism is a problem at Notre Dame with parents being so involved with the school and rubbing noses with the coaches and teachers. But, you will have that a small school. Over all it was a great four years in which I made many friends and good memories. Notre Dame also is a safe school, but they do need to be a little more communicative with the parents when issues do arise. Kids talk and when things that are serious aren't communicated to the parents in an appropriate time frame it can escalate into a bigger issue.
