Notre Dame High School Reviews

Thankfully, I graduated from ND last year. There are very few teachers who really care about the students’ education, but the few that do are fantastic. Lots of the teachers are coaches, and they couldn’t care less about academics. There are also a lot of unfair rules and practices at Notre Dame. Female students are only allowed to wear pants in certain months. There are length requirements for the shorts and skirts of both males and females, which is to be expected from a Catholic School. However, the female students are regularly checked and reported for inappropriate skirt lengths, but the males are NEVER checked for their shorts. There’s also so much favoritism for the rich families of Crowley. The entire school fears them because they donate money. I could go on and on about all Notre Dame’s issues, but I’ll leave it at this. If you’re not from a wealthy white family, Notre Dame may not be the place for you. It would also help to be an athetic male.

As a graduate of Notre Dame High School, I can earnestly attest to the fact that the teachers and faculty members prioritize students' education before all else. After graduating from Notre Dame, I felt prepared for college and have been able to apply many of the collegiate skills instilled in us from the teachers. I would like to see a more diverse student population, as well as an improvement in funding for the music and arts program.
Good sports and small town culture. Enough education to get into college, but need to work for knowledge needed to excel. Limited diversity in education and no AP so if you go out of state you have zero credit. No art or music programs. Dirt track. Mixed bag of teachers so you either learn something or their class is a waste of time. Large majority of students are white. No sex education outside of abstinence in religion class. Pants not a part of girl's uniform, so we froze in the winter.
