The educational aspect was amazing. The difficult coursework definitely prepared me for college. Many teachers at Notre Dame strive for connection with students—not only do they want their students to succeed, but to grow critical thinking skills and meaningful connections as well.
The social aspect was underwhelming. Due to lack of diversity, it's hard to find a place to belong—especially if you're biracial or part of a different religion.

Notre Dame is a great Private All Girls Catholic School located in Belmont California. They have amazing teachers who will put your daughters learning above all else, the small classroom sizes help with that!
I absolutely loved my four years at NDB. I played varsity soccer and lacrosse all four years and loved the sense of community that I got from not only my teammates, but the rest of my "sisters" as we called each other. Each class had its own name, color, and mascot (we were the Gators) and there was a fun spirit of competition among classes at school wide rallies and our annual Aquacades, which was a themed event where groups would perform musical deck or swim solos. My only suggestion for change is to build a track and soccer field, because we currently use those of neighboring colleges for practices and games.
