Notre Dame Academy is the most welcoming place. Although I am excited to see what my life outside of the kilt will look like, I am very sad to leave the most amazing place. I truly believe that NDA is a place for everyone. The community aspect is extraordinary and everyone is so kind. I have not only gained a wonderful education, but I have gained a family. I am so incredibly grateful for to 1073 Main Street, Hingham for giving me the best memories. In addition to the wonderful and rigorous academics, NDA has a great atheltic department, clubs, international trips, and many other incredible opportunities where students can get involved. If you have the opportunity to attend Notre Dame Academy, I would highly recommend it.

My experience with Notre Dame Academy has been incredibly positive. The community here is so supportive and strong, everyone pushes each other to really be their best selves. The teachers want to see the students succeed, and the students want it. The athletics are incredible, great coaches and great administration, we've won multiple championships in my time here. I would say about 90-95 percent of the student body plays a sport, and that is definitely one of the best ways to get to know people your first year.
The school is struggling. A recent change in administration is a start, hopefully, but it's not going in the right direction. There have been renovations to the building, much needed, but they have lost sight of the fact that this is an academic institution. There needs to be renovations done to the staff and curriculum. Its stale. Many teachers are great! But the not so great ones are weighing it down. The chaos and frustrations caused by math teachers who don't teach is overwhelming. The administration shut down any parent communication. They are dismissive and unprofessional. There are regular requests for money, constant actually, but if a parent sends an email looking for answers or changes, it is dismissed. They want your money but not your involvement. Unless of course, involvement means fund raising.
