I've attended Notre Dame Academy since I was in kindergarten so it is a large part of my life. When I look back on my childhood, some of my most impactful memories occurred either at or due to Notre Dame. The administrators and students are like family to me because the school is so small. I really appreciate the community there and believe it is Notre Dame's biggest strength.
Academically, there are some things that could be improved. Notre Dame prides itself in being an International Baccalaureate school but I (along with others) didn't always feel supported. First of all, IB appeals to a small percentage of students (and typically those who are academically ambitious) but I think AP is less intimidating. I think they should offer more IB and AP classes to appeal to more students. Some of the teachers are visibly unqualified to teach IB classes and combined with the inherent rigor of the curriculum, it makes the students feel disadvantaged.

Our child has been at Notre Dame since Kindergarten and is now in High School. She has absolutely prospered academically, athletically, and as a person. The IB education and values engrained in her have been priceless! We are confident she will be well prepared for whatever comes her way in college and in life.
ND Academy has an excellent team of teachers in the Upper School. Aside from the usual and obvious subjects, my student learned research and study skills that have proved to be invaluable at college. Thank you NDA!
