This high school offers a wide range of classes, electives & clubs that appeal to just about any interest. The partnership with the local community college allows students to earn college credit while still in high school. Teachers are highly committed and administration is great! The only downsides are the actual buildings, which are very old and need lots of work, and the extreme overcrowding. A new high school is slated to open next year which should help alleviate overcrowding.

Northwood is a decent school. There are a lot of AP classes, community college classes, and honors classes offered. Moving around classes and altering schedules is extremely difficult and my experience with my counselor was not very good. Sports are pretty good overall and the art department is great!
Northwood High School was a very prepared school. They always listened to their students, and tried their very best to give them the education necessary to go on with life. This school didn’t have many fights, it was more of a school where everyone minded their own business and really just cared about graduating. They were strict with the rules so not many kids got in trouble. Some of the teachers were kind and helpful, others didn’t really care, which made the experience very different from each student. The clubs and activities were very different, students could create their own clubs but most of them didn’t just because you needed someone to be in charge and this school wasn’t very out there per say.
