I recently graduated this year as high school senior, my experience as a former student was fantastic, i earned many college credits due to the college courses the school had provided for all of high students. The professors were very helpful and hand many hands on learning experinces, Adminstration staff and other members of the school were also helpful as well themade us felt welcoming and safe.

My experience at Northwood was OK considering it is a charter school. I prefer the academics could have been higher, and the teachers could have been more involved with the student's education. The majority of the teachers seemed like they did not care about teaching the students. The only sport the school had was basketball. There were a lot more sports students wanted in this school. The food was horrible, and they always ran out. There were some parents that voluntarily did things to help the teachers out. I would like to see this school flourish. They need to get all new teachers that is more involved with the student's education. They need to prepare them for college. During the student's junior and senior year they should tour colleges to get them familiarized with college. They should also have more clubs, activities, and more sports. Students need to get more involved with these social activities so they can become more socialized.
My experience has been that the teachers try their very best to give the students the best education possible, even spending their own money when necessary in many circumstances. The unfortunate part is that we have many students who could be very disrespectful to these teacher who care even still they still show up. My experience has been the best that it could possibly be providing what the situation was. I can only hope for the future that the staff stay strong and maintain the integrity and legacy of Mrs. Victoria gray Adams.
