Some things that I liked about Northwestern High School was the community and the teachers. I loved all the support for all sports and activities and the school spirit. Football games and other sports were so fun to go watch because the crowd loved being there. Some things I would wish to see change would be maybe the politics in sports. In some sports, based on your last name and who you are you will play more than others even if you work ten times harder than they do. This has been going on for years, and I know it happens at other schools it is just frustrating when it happens to you.
My experience at Northwestern was pretty good. The teachers are great, the staff are great, and they all make sure students do their best. I have made many friends there, and I even have some favorite teachers. Northwestern is the best school I've been to, from academics to the overall experience. A thing I would definitely like them to change, however, is how they get and use their money. Lunch and game tickets/ parking are the ways they get money from students. But other than that, it's a great school.
While attending Northwestern Local Schools, I found the smaller community allowed me to meet and become friends with many other students as well as making it easier for me to reach out to my teachers for help.
