High school can often feel to be so impenetrable, exhausting, and troublesome, but Northwest Whitfield has great assistance and guidance for every individual who walks through the building. Every morning each person is greeted as they walk through the door. Northwest has tremendous teachers who are willing to come before and after school or classes to help students with their needs, and they also just care for their well-being and feelings. Northwest has such great school spirit and students are often traveling to different extracurricular activities to support their friends and classmates. Although, I do wish we had more pep-rallies and school spirit for the different sports teams inside the school building. Overall, Bruin Nation is the place to be, and I am more than blessed to say that I have attended this ecstatic place for my high school career. GO BRUINS!!

Northwest Whitfield High School is a very good school overall. The students there are diverse yet welcoming and have a wide variety of ideas and interests. The school has successful sports teams that compete in the AAAA sanction. The school also has very good drama and band programs and offers a variety of clubs. Some downsides to the school are the old ness of the building and that some of it is run down. Also there isn’t as wide variety of class choices as are offered at some of the larger schools here in Georgia, but both AP and Dual Enrollment options are available.
In 2017, Northwest Whitfield County High School ranked better than 71.5% of high schools in Georgia. It also ranked first among 4 ranked high schools in the Whitfield County School District. There are around a number of 14 AP Courses.
Advanced Math Enrollment is very high. Average Graduation Rate is
around 94%. The school offers good classes and resources. Although, other than the fact that they hired a heroin addict, it's an okay school.
