My last four years at Wichita Northwest have been incredible! From the day I enrolled, to the day I am graduating, it has been an amazing experience. Everyone, especially the administration and staff, welcome people with open arms and an opportunity to further our education. There are also many ways to get involved with our school, including creating your own clubs. I cannot say I would change anything about Northwest. Though administration may seem strict, I have come to understand their goal is to keep us safe, and forwarding our career paths. I will miss being a grizzly!

Overall I would say that I have had a positive experience at Northwest high school. Teachers and counselors are willing to provide help and offer assistance to self motivated students. The food is awful, I will not eat it, but this is true for the entire district. They also don't seem to know how to work the thermostat as it is either freezing or extremely hot. The administrative staff seems to be more concerned about the ill performing students. This is true for the entire staff, there seems to be a culture of dragging ill performing students along just so they can graduate, no matter how much they have to dumb down classes.
What I like about Northwest High school is the many class options. I like to be able to chose what class I want to take as well as the level in which the class is paced. I like the new after school help and tutors put in place for people that need them. The administration could be better, as in attitudes towards the students and fixing the ways the staff handles certain situations. I would like to have a fun, comfortable classroom environment, that would befit everyone positively and make the students want to learn. The teachers at Northwest are pretty nice and good at doing their jobs. The teachers do a lot to help out the students, which we really appreciate. I feel as though teachers should not judge the students, no matter what their grades are in the class, or other classes.
