Overall my experience with Northwest was rather mixed. I had some amazing teachers who I still am grateful to have learned from and some who I can have a long conversation with and enjoy the company of, while some teachers I honestly wonder why they ever became a teacher and hated every minute of class. The administration didn’t really know what they were doing except for Jimmy D, the principal, who was always so nice and everyone loved; he greeted every student he passed! I think the culture of the student body was good considering it was a high school, from what I saw we never had much of a bullying problem and people didn’t care much about being too “popular”.

I love attending Northwest! The teachers there are great and provide excellent help when you are stuck. The principal, Mr. D'Andrea, is one of the most open and helpful principal that I've ever had! This is coming from someone who has had him as a principal in 6th, 7th, 8th, 11th, and this upcoming senior year! This is a great school for people of all personalities to attend!
Northwest High School has amazing school spirit and offers amazing academic opportunities. The school itself is pretty new, but there is definitely some overcrowding and they had to add portables to accommodate the growing class sizes. The diversity of this school is astounding, overall my experience here has been a very positive one over the corse of my four years here!
