The school provides many different AP and IB courses, which gives students the choice of what types of subjects they want to learn about. There is also access to more hands-on classes available through the Livonia technical center, though I feel it was not advertised enough. Overall though, the atmosphere is welcoming and the school is in great condition!

The one thing I liked about Northville high School was that it had a very good academic standing. Because of this, many universities preferred students from this high school. I also thought this high school prepared me well for my future endeavors at other universities and colleges. Northville high school, however, did not have a good grade-point system. For example, the school was on a system that if you received a 92% in the class, you would get a 3.5. Because of the pressure for all the students to achieve top grades, many students experienced high levels of stress that is not good at a young age.
Northville is a great school overall. You'll meet an incredible array of students - amazing athletes, elite students, and everyone in between! Clubs and sports are great: for example, Science Olympiad is nationally ranked and tennis and baseball are state-championship caliber each year.
The school atmosphere is wonderful, and I don't have any issues with the teachers or administration. There is a wide range of classes that challenge the students and prepare them for success in college. This is definitely one of the best schools in MI in terms of academic, athletic, and extracurricular success.
