Communication between teachers/staff and parents regarding events could be improved. The outdoor garden area has looked awful for several years and could be used for learning, but is wasted space that is overgrown instead. The front office secretaries are rude 50% of the time and you never know if it's going to be a day when they will be rude or polite. It is chaos in the lunchroom and the staff spends more time chatting than paying attention to the kids. However, these are probably going to be issues anywhere you go. Just wish the school my kids went to would strive to be better. The teachers we have dealt with: 3 out of 4 of them have been great!

I have had 3 children in Northview, 2 with special needs and the teaching staff has been amazing both in regular ED rooms and the Sped. Room. They truly care about my children and want the best for them!
School was recently remodeled. Great facilities. Clean and in good repair. The children are taught respect for the school building and resources. Another reviewer mentioned the iPads. They also have other technology- projectors, white boards etc.
