During our family’s five-year (and counting) tenure at Northstar School, we could not be happier with every aspect of the school. Our kids LOVE this school including the environment, friends, sports, art, electives, field trips, school trips and so much more. The Board, administration and teaching staff are engaged, caring and dedicated. As a parent, I can’t say enough good things about how they support the school, the kids, and the families. I would also like to commend their handling of the COVID-19 shelter-in-place situation. With only one week of extended spring break, the Board, administration and teachers put together an amazing online learning program for the kids. It required a lot of out of the box thinking to plan the remainder of the year and create engaging lessons for the kids and they were hugely successful. I recommend Northstar School without reservation.
The school provides a well-rounded education and offers a very diverse curriculum, especially for the size! I have loved my time here and would highly recommend to people who are looking for a personalized, small environment with tons of things to do. The teachers are amazing, too!
Great school. Talented, energetic teachers and administrators who have created an atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth for each student. Very small teacher-student ratio so all students receive individual attention and instruction. Curriculum includes field trips, travel, foreign language immersion, fine arts, STEM, and extracurricular activities too numerous to mention. We couldn’t be more pleased to be part of the Northstar family. Highly recommend this school.
