Northside is a place with endless opportunities for students. I highly encourage this for students to attend this school because the environment is amazing. The school spirit is all around, the teachers are passionate about teaching, the staff is kind, and the classes are insightful and engaging in the most helpful way. There are many things to get involved with at Northside academically, voluntarily, for athletics, or creatively! At this school, you truly are a family.
Northside High School is a very diverse school where people come from all of the place to study an build a career. We have all sorts of sports, clubs, and activities at Northside to help students get involved and find their talent. Some clubs include Spanish Club, FBLA, DECA, HOSA, and many more. We also have many sports which include soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, swimming, track, cross country, golf, wrestling, and much more. Northside also holds many events that inspire students to work hard and find career options that interest them. We had many guest speakers that visit and tell us about their experiences and obstacles they faced before reaching their destination. We also hold many prep rallies and high school events that inspire students to engage with school activities and get involved. The academic side of Northside is incredible, too. Teachers are very helpful, understanding, and flexible. They come before or after school to help guide us in the right direction.
Northside is the best public school in Columbus, Georgia. We have kids from our rivalry school (Columbus High School) wanted to join. That should tell you enough!
