I love the Christian environment! The teachers are very involved in your academics. You can have many opportunities for extracurricular, even though the school is small. One thing I would like to see a change in is an opportunity to take more AP Classes and a different school schedule for seniors like those at public schools.
I really loved my time at Northpoint Christian School! Not only was I given opportunities to grow in my walk spiritually, but I was also given a lot of ways to get involved and plugged in. The community there is amazing! The teachers are very supportive and loving as well. I know if I ever need anything they will be there!
I thought NCS would be a good fit for my family members however as the school seem to be just alright the only difference is it's very expensive and there are no fights. This school is 97% Caucasian so none of the activities this school does are accepting of diversity. Which in this day and time should be. Politics shouldn't be allowed at this school at all but you can see some kids wearing Obama and Trump shirts throughout the day.
Homework is given out everyday including some weekends so family time is now limited, there are times we are at the dinner table still helping with homework because my children have so much homework to complete.
One of my kids said they see Blacks treated and talked to unfairly and the teachers don't step in but sometimes would often laugh at the joke. She also said students that come from different schools are not used to this curriculum and are not treated fairly when they don't understand. She said there are no African American staff at this school.
