I love NUAMES! It is a small school, and has such a wonderful environment. The teachers know each of their students names and their individual needs. The school is partnered with Weber State University, which provides a rigorous and academically challenging environment for all of the students. The kids that go there are there to learn and improves the quality of the classes. On top of that, NUAMES is a very diverse school, and one that has very little bullying, and a lot of acceptance and friendliness. I truly enjoyed my experience--it helped me grow not only academically but personally as well.

This highschool gives an early college experience. It is located on Weber State campus and students are able to apply for college sophomore year. During sophomore year, if you get into the program, you will turn into a part time highschool student so you can take college classes with WSU! Most students graduate with their diploma and their associates, and can walk at both graduations.
NUAMES is absolutely the best school in Utah, hands down. We are constantly growing, and turning people away because of our limited class size. In total our school has roughly 750 kids, which for Utah is very small. Our small grade and class sizes give each student more individualized time with the teachers, administration, and counselors. NUAMES does not have sports or many other extracurricular activities that most people enjoy, such as band and theatre, but we make up for that with our academics. The people who attend NUAMES are people who really want to be there. Public schools often contain kids who are just there because it's the law. Individuals at our school want to be there, as it takes effort to get in and stay in. We are ranked number one in Sage Testing Scores, and we have the highest percentage of students in the state graduate with their Associate's degrees. I recommend NUAMES to anyone in Utah who really wants to excel in high school.
