I've had a fairly good experience! The academics are rigorous and most teachers care about students' success and work with them to achieve it. From what I've seen, athletics are pretty great, although I'm not involved myself. Not the most diverse school, but I'd say you'll find many students with diverse and varying ideas and beliefs. The new building looks amazing and it's really nice going to such a new, modern school. Does a good job getting you ready for college and beyond, and I made some great friends here. Workload can be a bit heavy if you're an AP student, but you meet a lot of interesting people in those classes and learn a lot more than you would with an honors or standard course :)
While the average workload was sometimes a bit excessive, all of the staff at Northern had their students' best interests at heart and were always available to help when their students needed it. The student body at Northern has always bonded over school spirit and as a second generation Northern student I am proud to be a Patriot!
The new building and courts around the school are fantastic and clean! The learning environment in the building is fantastic due to the hardworking and passionate staff and teachers.
