From my experience so far it's been a very good environment and I enjoy it very much! When you're there it basically feels like a second home and it's easy to be you and fit in. The academics and sports are my favorite because it's different from normal high schools and when you're on a sports team, they become your family throughout the years. The teachers care about there students very much and wish for the best, and the people working in the school care about you as if they were to be there very own kid.
It's a great school for those who wants to go to work after graduating high school. However, I recommend to students who want to go to college to think it though and research information about vocational schools. The thing that I really didn't like about this school was that they didn't have advance placement. However, I love how vocational schools give students opportunities to try out careers. It's interesting and it's realistic; I'm in the Dental Assisting program. We call those our "shop". In our "shop" (Dental Assisting), we get to practice like real dental assistants because our "shop" is designed to look and work like a dental office. During our junior year of high school, we even get to go to Tufts in Boston to assist the dental students there! In conclusion, this school is great but will need improvements. Thank you for your time.
In attending northeast, I feel as though there was such a heavy pressure placed onto the few students who did well in their testings, that most of the students stopped caring. There was little to no help in classes, social issues such as bullying, and many kids were getting in trouble for things that never even involved them. Northeast is a school ran on nothing but the wrong politics, and it's obvious to not only to the staff but the students as well.
