Northeast Magnet High School was one of the most amazing school experiences I've ever had in my life. I hated school until I came here. While there were many struggles along the way, by the end of it, I was thriving and the most happy I'd been in years. I recommend this high school to anyone. The community is great, the teachers are great and even the administration is great!
It’s a very small school that you have to apply to get into, only 700 students but it’s like family. You will know all of the teachers and admin there by the end of your freshman year! The food is kinda sad but the district provides it so the school can’t do anything about it. The programs are rigorous but the teachers and other students will help you every single step of the way!
Northeast Magnet High School is a great school for almost everybody. The teachers care and want you to succeed. Most teachers are happy to help during lunch or even stay after school for a long time to help students with what ever they need. The magnet classes get student get ready for a multitude of careers in Law, Science, and Arts. Northeast Magnet has the highest test scores in the Wichita Public Schools and has a graduation rate of over 90%. One of the only big downsides is that it does not have its own sports teams, however athletes can apply to do sports at other high schools in Wichita. It is a small school with diverse students from many different backgrounds. Overall it is a great school with great students, teachers, and administration, who care about student success deeply.
