Northeast High School is amazing! This is the BEST high school in St. Petersburg! The teachers and administrators are awesome, and the students are great!
In the beginning, I was attending Dunedin High school, then after a few weeks I transferred to Northeast High school, home of the Vikings. As an incoming freshman, I was petrified by how big the school is compared to me. When I walked into the main office an administrative staff member was so kind and helpful towards getting me registered. I was given my schedule, with the names of teachers and classes. luckily, I made it in time for the "Back To School Night", and my mom was, given the opportunity to meet with my teachers individually to access the academic rigor. After settling in, I joined the school Basketball team, while balancing classes that are challenging; seeming I am in all honors classes. After that, I took it upon myself to join Friends Inc, where we got with kid who were not in regular classes like us and I was happy to be a vessel that made them feel apart of the school despite their own challenges. All in all, my experience at Northeast High school was thrilling.
