The use of eagle hour is extremely helpful. There is a great amount of advanced placement course available. Students are generally get enough freedom to make their own decisions while still being guided. Our student body is incredibly involved and typically very proud of their school. The only major negative is the guidance office that pushes community college way too hard and limits potential of students. Out of state schools tend to be pushed aside when mentioned to counselors as they are seen as out of reach. I understand that community college is a great idea for some, but the level to which it is pushed in this school in stifling.

I went after renovations, so everything had up to date technology and was a wonderful place to learn and make friends. The teachers really push you to learn and actually try to make sure that you understand the course material. They offer a wide range of courses, all pertaining to different learning styles and levels of rigorousness. When it comes to sports, they offer them in all seasons with at least one being unified. Although they don't always win, they offer kids the chance to be active, make friends, and dive into extracurricular activities. It was a great school to go to.
Teachers really wish to help the students and prepare them for future careers. However, while supportive, classes lack difficulty and everything is too novice. Too many second chances are awarded and students don't learn the harshness of the real world as easily as other schools. Although this is a huge problem, many students are awarded scholarships for their academics which helps students who can not afford to go to school otherwise.
