The academics that are offered at this school are excelled. The science department has been given numerous grants which they used to purchase equipment to help the students experience careers in the real world.
Good advanced classes, good teachers. The school needs to work on removing the drug problem within the school, and learning to deal with the bullying that happens.
They offer a lot of class choices, especially in their electives and AP classes. The teachers are very understanding and easy to bond with. The administration does not take much seriously, so if you are faced with conflict, your best bet is to talk to your favorite teacher about it.
The teachers are very willing to help you prepare for college. I wish it were more of a community. Where more students were helping students vs always the teachers helping.
Plenty of nice people, students should be a higher priority for the administration. The sports teams are great and connect the school, but there is a drug and violence problem. Not a very diverse town as well.
Northbridge High is a small school where all the grades are familiar with one another and our teachers stick with u for all four years. It fits the small town, small school spirit but the connections in that school have exceeded many expectations. As a high school senior, with no previous work experience, I got to intern in a law office for mental health patients. I got to work personally with the lawyers and go to court with them and watch them battle the cases I helped with. Northbridge may be a small school but the people inside spend their days creating so much more for us students than we ever thought was possible for teenage kids.
There needs to be a complete change by the administration to listen to and meet students needs that way they can get the most out of their education possible.
My time at Northbridge High School has been very fun for the most part. I have been involved in many things and try to make the best out of all of my time spent in this district. Teachers at Northbridge High are very understanding and will always do their best to help their students succeed. I have played field hockey and softball for all of my years at Northbridge and I have loved to see my coaching staff change and develop strongly during the years. My peers at Northbridge seem to be like all peers at every school. Competitive with each other but also willing to talk and be there for you anytime of the day. You can always find someone to lean on if you are in need. Although friends will always be changing, I know that I have found true friends that will last a lifetime, relationships with teachers that I will take with me to always push myself, and memories that will truly last a lifetime from my time at Northbridge High School.
The activities and academics are focal points at Northbridge high school. I am personally involved with all aspects including sports, clubs, class office, the arts and our unique career academies. Facilities and resources could improve.
Northbridge High School is a superb school. The administration tries its best to control the rowdy students and the do a good job. I wouldn't change anything except for the substitute teachers. We need substitute teachers who are well educated on the subject they're teaching. That would be my only complaint.
Northbridge High School is an overall great place to receive an education due to the excellent facilities and well adjusted teachers who understand high school students and how to deal with them emotionally and behaviorally.
My freshman year was shaky because I didn't put much effort into studying and therefore my grades were just about all Cs. My sophomore year was better, I had a great teacher/mentor who really helped me improve on my academics. I am grateful to all the teachers at Northbridge High School, they have prepared me and put me in the right direction for my career and life.
I had a great experience at Northbridge. There is a bit of a mix of people who want to be in school and those who don't...
Northbridge High School had something for everyone. Northbridge is well known for it's successful football team, however it has a large arts program and a rigorous academic curriculum that prepared me well for college.
There is a zero tolerance for bullying, minimum security, and reliable healthcare.
The variety of extracurricular activities that NHS provides is extensive. Almost anyone can find something they like.
This school has the ability to make classes team up, showing that teamwork can go a long way.
