In my opinion, North Vermilion High School is one of the best schools in the state of Louisiana. Our principal was voted “Prinicpal of the Year” in 2018 and this is because he truly is one of a kind. He cares about us and our success. He wants us to be successful in school but also wants us to be good people. We are blessed to have him for our leader! We are an “A” school and our teachers always put us first. We have a great athletic programs with coaches who believe in each and every one of their athletes. Our close knit community is amazing and our parents are allowed to be involved in our school. North Vermilion High School is amazing and there is no other place I would rather be.

North Vermilion is a wonderful school. They have an amazing faculty. The principal, Coach Tommy Byler, is one of the most inspirational people I've ever met. He is great at doing his job because he treats the students like they are his own children. He cares for everyone. The teachers do an excellent job at helping students academically, but are also there when someone needs to talk about something they can't ask anyone else. They also engage and help students prepare for college. North Vermilion also offers many different clubs and sports. From Campus Beautification to swimming, North Vermilion has so much to offer. One thing I would like to see change is the facilities, but the senior class has already started changing the facilities by repainting the walls and writing inspirational words in the bathrooms. We will continue to revamp our school as the year goes by. North Vermilion High School will always feel like home to me.
I liked North Vermilion High for the atmosphere there. The students mostly all get along and the teachers there help us as much as they can. There has always been a positive vibe from the students and faculty at NVHS, and everyone there is more like a family than anything. The one thing I would like to change is that if there would be a way to bring the students closer together and have us all involved in our community around. Because our school is all about giving back but I believe that we can do more of that.
