I have had a very positive experience at North Thurston. Several teachers and coaches have pushed me and helped me to become a better student and person. My experiences in cross country and fastpitch have been incredible- the athletic program here is not altogether impressive but it is a joy to participate in. The teachers are capable- some are incredible, some are less than ideal. North Thurston offers a wide variety of classes and pathways, allowing student to expand their interests and adapt school to their needs. The administrators- the principals and assistant principles- are very popular with the students and very good at their jobs. The food is what you would expect at a public school- edible, usually. The school tries to support students as much as possible. There are many resources available for academic and personal support. The students here are okay. As with anywhere, there is a wide variety and everyone's experience is different. I have enjoyed attending this school.
It's overall a great school, and it has an amazing Running Start program! I've enjoyed almost every teacher I've gotten at this school, and I've had very little bad experiences while at North Thurston. The school also just got remodeled, so it is very new and nice. Overall, great school!
The teachers and staff at this school are very passionate and determined on the education of us students. I see them work hard everyday and just try to make our school life a safe place to be at. All of the teachers that I have had for four years are great people and value our education a lot. They try their best to make learning interesting, and because of that I look forward to attending all of my classes.
