The school was not very challenging academically to me. It lacked assistance in preparing for college and the real world.

At North Star High School there are quite a few extracurricular opportunities for the students to become involved in, such as FCCLA, SADD, Honor Society, Student Counsel, Yearbook, music groups, and sports programs. For the small amount of students that go to North Star High School, many of them have a group that they can be a part of at their fingertips. The advisers that are in charge of each group do an exceptional job of getting to know each student that decides to join their organization. The administration encourages all the students to join the extracurricular organizations, because most of the students who join the organizations have had actually improved their lively hood. The organizations at North Star High School all have a ton of fun options, like having a game night or going bowling. I rated the extracurricular opportunities at North Star High School as great, because I wish that this school could have more groups for students to be involved with.
I like the school but hate how they have strict rules about everything. If they would back off a little bit this school would be much more enjoyable.
