Overall, my experience at North Stanly high school was a positive one. The teachers, particularly in the English and the History Departments, were very connected with the students and always ensured that they understood whatever material was being taught at the time. I also had a very positive experience with the Guidance department, as they were always willing to work with me to achieve whatever goals I deemed necessary throughout my time at North Stanly. The culture was very welcoming, with plenty of hospitality to go around between staff and students alike. In addition to this, there was an abundance of talent among the student body that largely represented itself in the school band, which was excellent and proved to be a remarkable addition to sporting events, such as football games in particular. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of some poor administration decisions my senior year, but other than that, I had a very positive experience.
As a senior at North Stanly High School, I have experienced many excellent opportunities. The teachers are exceptional, however, we lack teachers and resources. As a senior at North Stanly High School, I have had to take many classes through our local community college because of a lack of opportunities. If there was anything I could change about my school it would be the number of AP classes we obtain and the lack of college resources.
Our school tries very hard to give students the best high school experience with incredible senior activities. Academically, we are small and cannot offer much needed courses on campus.
