North Shore Hebrew Academy High School Reviews
Rating 4.36 out of 5 89 reviews
College prep is not the greatest. Students are unmotivated and competition is basically non existent. Building is very nice. Most teachers are very nice and do genuinely care for the students. However, I have met my best friends here and I am very grateful for that opportunity.
North Shore Hebrew Academy has made my high school experience one that I will never forget. There is such great diversity, with students coming from several different communities, and yet there is such a strong sense of unity among us. When I first began high school, I was nervous that it would be difficult both socially and academically, but I was relieved to find myself in a warm and welcoming environment. North Shore offers endless clubs and ways to be a part of this school and I am so glad I was able to involve myself in a series of extracurricular activities, each pertaining to my interests. In addition, I feel that my teachers here at North Shore truly have my best interests at heart and that each of them is dedicated to challenging their students in a productive and intellectual manner. When I complete my high school education, I will feel that I am leaving behind not only a school, but a home.
North Shore Hebrew Academy High School provided me with an environment in which I could advance academically, spiritually, and as a person. The academics in North Shore are second to none and I believe no other high school could prepare me for college the same way mine did. In North Shore, everyone has the same goals- to do well, succeed, and ultimately end up somewhere great in life. The Administration, starting with Dr Vitow at the top, have formed a school in which we can all achieve these goals through teachers that always have our best interests at heart, rigorous AP courses that ensure our college readiness, and a strong emphasis on the importance of education to make the world a better place. North Shore is home to a diverse group of kids that are welcoming and caring, much like a family. I love this school.
