The teachers at North Pike Middle School are strongly focused on the students learning. They will go out of there way to help a student master the lesson that is taught. They will bring in props and all sorts of material outside the textbook to help the students learn the lesson. They will contact a parent to get them involved in a student's learning process. The main thing is the teachers at NPMS love their students and when the students see that their teacher actually care about them, they will work harder at their lesson. I just finished 8 th grade, so I'll be in high school in the fall. I m glad to be moving on but Im also saddened by the fact that I'm going to truly miss the teachers at NPMS.

My most favorable experience at North Pike couldn't be limited to just one truthfully. However to just name one, it would be the year my CLUE class took a trip to Alabama to the space museum. It was so much fun being able to be with my teacher outside of school. I already loved her from just being in her class but I realized she was a fun smart cool teacher when she was away from the school as well. She made sure each of her students got involved in the projects that we were given to participate in . She not only encouraged us too try and get a good understanding of everything at the space camp but she made sure it was fun for us too.

I got a chance t really shine at North Pike. This is the reason I would definitely choose to attend it again if given the choice to do so. The opportunities are endless when it ones to being the best you can be.
The security measures could be better than what they are. The policies that are in place has been the same for years. However they were implemented when our school was a 3a school. We are now a 4a school with a very high possibility of becoming a 5a school next year if not this fall. Students from the surrounding districts are moving to the NP school districts because of the education offered. Some if not the majority of these students some from a school district that are prevalent in fighting and other behavioral issues. We've started having incidents where drugs have been found on students and fighting among students is becoming an issue. The majority of these incidents involved students that are transfers. The school is cracking down on residencies to try and help with the abundance of transferring students to help with some of the security issues but it's going to take more than cracking down on residency to insure the safety of students.
