North Myrtle beach is on the higher end of Horry county's school system. A lot of time and effort is put into the school by the faculty and staff. Although some may say they hate the school, it's most likely because they would hate any school. Being one of the better students in the classroom, it was easy to see that teachers invested most of their time in students who didn't understand the subject. Despite most students not caring anyway, many teachers were persistent in keeping students' education afloat. Being homeschooled my freshman and sophomore year, North Myrtle Beach made me wish I spent all 4 years at their high school.
This will be my fourth and final year at North Myrtle Beach High school and in my opinion, it is one of the best high schools in Horry County. The teachers and staff care a great deal about the student's well being and education. The school offers a vareity of clubs and activities that reach every topic of interest I can think of personally. I feel like I am getting all the resouces and knowledge I need to succeed after high school, whether that be college or the work force. I could not be happier with my high school expierence at North Myrtle Beach High School, and am glad I was about to attend such a beautiful, clean, and productive high school.
I totally love it here. the people are just thriving with electricity. everyone is "all over the place"! In a good way though. North Myrtle Beach High aslo has some of the best teachers you can have. for example my U.S. History teacher not only knows history, but he can also tell a story about 10 topics in one! I know right! One more thing about North Myrtle Beach, is the student spirit for our sports teams. Just last week, our volleyball team won their game against a school outside our district, not to brag, but i think it was our school spirit that won us the game. Finally our administration, our new principal this year (she was an assistant principal) is making a great senior year for me. her assistant principals are great as well. they're not only good at what they do in school, but they're great people in general. Everyday you see a smile on their faces. How wonderful!there's Nothing more you need than respect for one another. Now that's the key to success!
