It’s an amazing school. Amazing teachers. That are willing to help everyone anytime and will do anything to make sure everyone understands how to do the material
North Moore is the best school ever. I enjoyed being at school every single day! The teachers are great and so are the students. North Moore is a very happy place. I was so blessed to be able to enjoy the small town High School experience. I will miss North Moore immensely and I would love to have my future children go there!
North Moore High School is a small school in Robbins, North Carolina. It is in the northern rural area of Moore County, and serves a small population of students. The unique thing about North Moore is that although it has a small surrounding population, the ethnicity of the students is widely diverse. This gives the school a friendly and accepting attitude to others regarding race or background. North Moore is a favorite for parents across the entire county!
I loved North Moore High School I graduated in 2015 and it was a great experience for me. I loved all my teachers it was a big family and I miss and love them all.
I came to North Moore as a Freshman by choice, leaving from a private school. I did not know anyone before coming here and was starting with a whole new experience. One of my most memorable times was when I was playing in a travel Softball tournament and broke my ankle. I had to have surgery and had to be on crutches for six weeks. Everyone at school was so helpful during this trying time for me. Over the last four years I have made so many friends. Our school is a small school , which had the advantage that everyone knew everyone else and we took care of each other. Staff didn’t mind helping all of the students to succeed in whatever they did. Also if there were any problems at school they were taken care of very quickly to keep everyone safe. North Moore has helped make my high school days A great experience.
I'm an avid member of my school's Drama Club and Beta Club, and I have enjoyed watching these programs evolve (although slowly) with the rest of the school over the past three years. Even with a low budget, we are supplied with the materials that we need in order to achieve academic success. However, the art departments at North Moore are relying on their resourcefulness to keep their heads above water, and I believe that a reassessment of our school budget is necessary to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to learn and engage in school activities that benefit and interest them.
The faculty are always nice, the curriculum however didn't meet it's needs for my college experience. I think something that could change could be the lessons.
Throughout my experience North Moore has played a big part in helping me be better prepared for when I go off to college.
North Moore is a very accepting place where everyone has friends and everyone is very involved. It is a school with lots of tradition where sports are up and down.
I love the community around North Moore High School. Everybody is nice and willing to help you. I am a senior at North Moore High School and I am pleased with everything here. The teachers are great and very informative.
Teachers are usually available if we give them notice ahead of time so they can work it into their schedules.
I think my school is safe. The teachers will do just about anything to protect students and keep them safe. We have regular practice lock down drills, fire drills, and tornado/hurricane drills.
Marching band is a commitment inside and outside of the classroom. There are about 80 people in our band and each person makes going to a rehearsal interesting. It's hard work but it's fun being on the field and competing in competition.
The teachers at my school are great what they do. Some teachers are a little more helpful than others though because some expect you to be more mature and just do your work without question, but others will help you get started on a particular assignment. Although it is good having both because when I take the next step in life I imagine it will be about the same.
I loved North Moore High School in all aspects. My Spanish class was my favorite, I fell in love with the language and with Hispanic culture. I also loved my Carpentry class, I hate that that was canceled. I was one of only two girls in the class, but I did not feel out of place. I learned things I could actually apply to the real world.
Most teachers at North Moore High School truly care about the students they teach, but some who have been teaching for several years and can not be fired for reasons not relating to sex, alcohol or money have given up. Every new teacher I had while attending North Moore High school showed me respect and taught me to the best of their ability.
North Moore high school is a rural school in a small town. There is opportunity to make friends but you might have to look hard because there is not much diversity. Playing sports will be respected by teachers and students.
