I really liked the atmosphere in the classroom. The teachers seemed passionate and wanted us to succeed. They pushed us to try harder and perform the best we could. The school has a planetarium and an awesome astronomy class as well. I felt incredibly fortunate to experience that class. I also really liked the school spirit. The student body was very enthusiastic. They didn't just support the sports teams, they also encouraged band and theater which was awesome! The only thing I wasn't fond of was some of the administration (non-teachers). They often spoke down to us and treated us rudely, but that was only a few individuals. Most of the staff was great.

North has many good, supportive fun teachers! We have a variety of classes beyond normal academic courses, such as forensics and astronomy (we have a planetarium!). I do have some personal grudges, like how the sports awards have their own huge, well-lit case while choir, band, and orchestra share a small, dim one in the Fine Arts building lobby.
North Medford is a great school for students who are self-motivated. There are opportunities there for Ivy-League level college applications, NCAA division 1 sports, or resources to enter the workforce immediately after graduation. However, the administration does a poor job of advertising those opportunities, and occasionally blocks access to them (administration includes the MSD in addition to the NMHS administration). The teachers and support staff are excellent, but are not always easy to find. It's also easy to just pass classes and not get involved in any extracurricular activities, but I highly recommend finding multiple areas to commit time to there.
