North Little Rock Center of Excellence Reviews
Rating 4.79 out of 5 14 reviews
The North Little Rock Center of Excellence is an excellent school because of its ability to prepare its students for future careers. They give their students the ability to take college courses, leave high school ready for the work force, and even be certified as a Nurse's Assistant to work as straight after graduation! This school has amazing teachers who help their students and with small classes, get to know their students a lot better. The teachers really care about the student's success and so does the principle, Mrs.Whisnant. They take pride in each student and push students to do their best every single day. They also have amazing clubs and significant resources, such as mental health and LGBTQ resources.
If you are looking for a school that displays multiple pathways in life, then the North Little Rock Center of Excellence is the school for you! This school allows students to attend classes specializing in different fields of study. Classes range from criminal justice to pharmaceutical sciences. The teachers selected are one off the best in their branches. They challenge us students in order to prepare us for adulthood as it can be a very competitive stage in our lives. Overall, enrolling in this school has to be one of the best decisions of my life; the motivation helped me prove to others how grounded and intelligent I really am.
My experience at the school was pretty average. There was some days where you just has your good days and bad. I will say there were some teachers who took pride into encouraging students and teaching really well. And there were others who are not and it made it hard for school. I wish my school would provide more resources for students. I also think that mental health is not taken seriously within the school . I believe that there should be more discussion about mental health for the students. I also think that there should be more open discussion about looking down on others and talking down upon others. I am I also feel like they should be teaching and having more open discussions about useful things to help shape our future. When I go to school, I want to be able to take some of that knowledge that I learned from school and apply it to my future.. but I’m on able to if they’re not teaching the right material.
