Wouldn’t trade my experience here for the world! Awesome school to go to! Every teacher I had got me ACT and college ready and also helped me out in some personal ways, too. You really get a chance to be interactive with teachers and other students to make your experience even better. Every student is welcome here and a lot of other students will tell you how much they love North Laurel High School and what they have to offer.

I am currently a sophomore at North Laurel High School, while I think some of the teachers we have are great ( the science department), we lack more opportunities for students. It’s not really a diverse school and it can be hard to fit in if you’re an outsider. We have great sports teams and extracurriculars!
Ive been attending NLHS for fours years now. I’m a graduating class of 2020. The counselors and teachers have been a tremendous help to me when it comes to figuring out what i wanna do after High school. Some of my teachers have pushed me far to do great things like get me into higher classes that they know i deserve to be in so i can excel my senior year. Having a one on one conversation with me about my day or what’s happening in my life now to make sure that i’m doing okay under all the pressure of choosing colleges, my work life, scholarship and school on top of that. This has its downside but the good side outweighs the bad.
