i went to this school for four years. let me tell you something! Never ever EVER send your kid here, and this is why:

1. Horrible education
2. Bad teachers (minus Mrs. Harrell and Mr. Bird)
3. Bullying at the top
4. Tours are false promoting
5. Got called stupid along with a few other students
6. had three quarters of my class leave because of the above
7. many many more things...

Congrats NICS!

Good things:

1. Made a friend or two
2. Had a few good teachers, of course they left after about two years of teaching...

I am currently teaching at NICS. Our family has been an active part of NICS for many years. We have experienced NICS from every point of view, from being a parent, students, and now working as part of the staff. Our children attended and graduated from NICS. One of our boys participated in the wonderful sports program at NICS. We ❤️ this school. The teachers and administrators love Jesus and strive to provide a challenging academic atmosphere while ministering to the spiritual needs of the students. Our experiences here have been very positive. Every school has room for improvement, NICS is always working to grow to better meet the needs of the students and families we serve.
Most of the teachers are kind and willing to help students not only in academics, but personal areas of their lives. The school retreats are fantastic. However, at times the teachers can become too involved in students lives. They’re is clear favoritism towards specific students from the administration. Bullying is only reprimanded if the student is not in close affiliation with the principal and staff. Otherwise, the bullying goes unnoticed. The teachers are not challenging and do not seem to want to challenge students thinking or opinions. In addition to this, the school did not prepare me for higher education whatsoever. There was no guidance or help when it came to preparing for the SAT or ACT let alone the college application process. This school is worth while for the small classes and religion aspect but other than that does not have very much to offer students.
