I liked North Hunterdon High School. I was very involved with the varsity Cross Country and Track Teams, the Chess Club, the Tech Service Club, the German Club, National Honor Society, the German & Art Honor Societies, and the Student Council. I made a lot of friends who I still talk to today, and I had the privilege of learning from a lot of great teachers! I will always remember walking in my first day and being excited for the adventures I would have over the next four years, and the excitement was for good reason: It was a great experience!
I loved North Hunterdon! My teachers were always very personable and enjoyed teaching their subjects. I always felt comfortable and safe, the school is very inclusive and up-lifting. I miss being there since I have graduated, the atmosphere was great and the academics were very good. If you worked hard in your classes you would do well, even when things were hard. There wouldn't be anything I would change about North!
North is the best! Why? Because it is MY high school and I would not trade my 4 year experience for anything.
From excellence in academics to be the best in sports, teachers and coaches develop personal relationships with students and provide them with opportunities to reach the full potential.
North Hunterdon HS also prides itself in having close relationship with the community, and educates kids to be responsible citizens through organizing events to help the community via fundraisers and volunteering.
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of NHHS for the past (almost) 4 years and it'll be with great sadness that I have to say good bye in the upcoming year.
