Amazing courses offered in all departmenta! There's pottery, photography, digital art, graphic design, metal & wood tech, psychology, sociology, German, Spanish, Latin, French, many cooking courses, and more! It's hard to believe all this is offered at a public high school, and I'm so grateful to have experienced the curriculum. There are many wonderful and caring teachers, with just a small handful of the lesser instructors.

Students work together and bond very well without any thought to social status, compared to most other schools. Cliques are common, per usual high school. My major complaint would be the diversity. It is a predominantly white school and I see discrimination and racism happening every day.

I loved the environment of learning and opportunity provided to every student at North Hills High School. They encourage questions and have always facilitated learning to the best of their ability. On top of their academic excellence, they supply classes based off of student's interests that they may pursue, such as art, photography, and cooking. These allow students to break up their day with fun activities while still learning useful skills. Finally, North Hills gives students other ways to pursue hobbies and become involved by facilitating many clubs, activities, and sports. Some of these including the school plays, varsity swimming (which I personally am involved in), and clubs such as the Students Against Destructive Decisions Club.
The school offers a wide variety of programs to allow students to explore career options and prepare themselves for the future and is overall a well-maintained organization. Most of the teachers in the school are very passionate about what they do, and genuinely want their students to be successful, regardless of what they plan to do as a career. My favorite classes were personal finance and career & personal planning, as they taught me the invaluable skills of financial literacy, professionalism, and overall gave me a better grasp of what I want to do with my life and how to achieve my goals. A personal complaint of mine was the lowering of gym credit requirements starting next year; to attract students to active lifestyles, the gym teachers created several new classes, such as outdoor activities. This is exemplary of just how much the teachers of NH care about their professions and want to help students as best they can while giving them every opportunity to improve themselves.
