Ever since the move to the new building, North has lacked any school spirit. These days the overall mood at school is a desire to leave, so more people are doing tech programs or CCP. Some teachers are fantastic, while others are clearly just there for a paycheck. Going to the guidance office always seems to be an ordeal because either my counselor doesn't know what to do, or the two counselors that have been there the longest won't give me a direct answer when I ask them things. Overall, I've had many more good times than bad at North, but I' ready to go.

North high school is very supportive of its students and gives them fantastic opportunities for learning. A newly renovated school means amazing new facilities such as the performing arts center and new stem lab. The district is currently facing levy issues so it has had to cut most of its clubs and activities however, the atmosphere is positive and hopeful that the levy will pass.
North High School was a very unique experience as far as academics and opportunities. From what I've observed, about half of the student body seem to be interested in graduating/college. This is due to the large number of cuts that have been made to clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities that drove said students to want to succeed.
