I enjoy the MCJROTC Program the most but also that there are several teachers throughout the school that genuinely care about the students. I have witnessed multiple teachers do what they can to support every student that has walked into their classroom. There are some teachers that only seem to care for their paycheck but they are heavily outweighed by those who care. We are the poorest school in the district and underfunded but they still come to work and deal with our problems despite their own. The leaders of the school district are the only reason I wouldn't give the last star. They make it difficult for our teachers to teach in great environments, punish students properly, and decent hours. I have seen multiple teachers block students from fighting and take hits to prevent students from being injured despite clear exhaustion. The teachers care about us and do what they can to protect us from others who act out. The district leaders are not the best but the teachers are amazing.

Overall, the school has excellent staff and teachers! These individuals really do care about their students. The school itself could benefit from improvements such as maintenance and the behavior of students.
I felt decently safe at the school as there was quite a lot of diversity. However, I join programs and the funding for the school isn't very much making our programs not the best compared to other high schools in the district. There were very little threats made to the school and teachers were doing very well at keeping students safe. I felt like my four years of high school passed very quickly . As much as I dread to show up everyday, it ended very fast and I miss it. My senior year was not completed like normal due to COVID-19, and that was a total let down for class of 2020. However, the school did try their best to help us make us feel important as we are important. Overall, I loved my high school and it was an amazing experience.
