Going to school at North Harrsion really is a blessing. The class sizes are ideal and the teachers are very personable, they always try to conform to what you need to see in a teacher. The corporation itself has a well known name, and great band, sports and clubs!

I have attended North Harrison High School for four years now. The school is a very good school and has many opportunities to challenge yourself. Being in the honors program here, I have taken many classes that have been very challenging. I know that when I graduate in a couple months, I will have learned a lot and I will be prepared for the real-world and college. North Harrison High School has many different electives and dual-credit opportunities. As far as the academics, they are very challenging. The school is very biased and unfair when it comes to athletics. The school focuses on sports more than academics. If you are an athlete, you will be the exception in this school. They are often excused when they are tardy. The administrators want to have all their players looking like great kids. If a volleyball player is seen in yoga pants, the administrators pretend not to notice. As soon as someone other than an athlete is seen wearing them, they are sent to the office.
I came to North Harrison High School as a foreign exchange student for the 16-17 school year. I had a great time, made a lot of friends and the school body was always very supportive. My exchange program was awesome and I liked it so much that I decided to come back for my senior year here in Indiana. Now, to explain my ratings by specific categories:
I put poor for diversity but that's really not the school's fault since Harrison County is almost entirely populated by whites.
I rated average the school's college readiness because 99% of the time this factor depends mostly on the student, meaning that if you as a student don't want to put any effort then there's nothing the school can do.
