North Fort Myers High is on the top of the list when it comes to community, every student is inviting and the atmosphere is thrilling, especially with school pride. The variety of programs is expansive, with skilled athletics, an award winning arts program, as well as academic programs like AICE and AP. The campus is beautiful, with a full football field and track, and softball field. I highly recommend!

My time at NFMHS was memorable and something I wouldn't trade for anything. There have been good times, like getting the opportunity to be one of the best marching bands in the area, and there have been some not-so-good times, like stressing over AICE exams and all. However, the good times were always great and the not-so-good times always unified us. Looking back on every single event that occurred during my four years here, there is not one thing I can't laugh about with someone else. One thing that separates NFMHS from other schools is that, through all of the clubs and opportunities offered here, it's impossible to not make friends. One way or another, kids at this school find a way to include one another, which makes the community and pride distinctive from any other school I know. I wouldn't trade my time at NFMHS for anything.
I feel that North Fort Myers High School prepared me for college. They offer the AICE program and although the classes are hard, I am now prepared.
They also encourage a good balance between academic and extra curricular activities for all students. The opportunities to get involved are endless.
The only thing I feel I would change is the communication. I felt I had to search for information and sometimes even go to different outlets to get my information. For example, when trying to decide on Dual Enrollment classes, I actually had to go to another outlet to get the information I needed. More information on the website would be helpful and maybe more required meetings with the counselors.
