NFHS is a school filled with variety whether it comes across athletics, clubs, or student body. Finding your place within the school is not a difficulty with this multitude of choice, especially with an average of 300 students per grade. Police officers are on standby daily and with frequent procedures and different techniques of emergency drills, the students build a strong sense of security within the school. Student resources from textbooks and administration provide sufficient assistance. I highly suggest enrolling in Advanced Placement(AP) classes as they are a great measure of capability within a subject and will further enhance your ability to choose a major in higher education. Overall, NFHS provides an entertaining experience with an impressive collection of student activities, yet may not provide a sufficient level of integrity and commitment required to succeed in higher education.

Overall, the faculty of North Farmington was very helpful and understanding. The counselors were also nice and were very willing to work with students and what they wanted to discuss. A lot of the courses for more specific electives were also taught by teachers who were more enthusiastic about those given subjects, so they made taking those classes a lot more interesting. There were very few teachers who appeared less available in a communication sense, but they were often few and far between in a class semester of scheduling.
My time at North was alright. However, the quality of the school itself was very poor. Appliances were frequently breaking and our school was rarely properly cleaned. In many rooms there was a layer of dirt and grime on the floor. Our air conditioning and furnace were low quality. Rooms would either be 100 degrees or 50. The bathrooms were dirty and broken all the time. Bathroom doors would be left without locks for years at a time.
However, most of the teachers at North were dedicated to teaching. They cared about helping their students succeed.
The administration was very good.
