Lower School is great, Middle School is good, but the Upper School Administration and Headmaster need to be dismissed. Also, they have a man shoving BS down the throats of everyone there to further diversity. If you have a problem with this man, don’t go to Administration, as they let him lie about the past and present to further the school’s future. Title IX doesn't exist for young women. The boys (and they are boys) cause trouble but get all the assistance they need. The public speaking project in the Senior year that the school likes to go on about is a cruel joke. As a former Forensics State Champion for three years, these poor kids need help writing and presenting their speeches. Those that do well have very obviously been assisted by an adult. The subject matter and the words conveyed are not that of a high school student. They are barely that of a underclassmen in college.

Besides the excellent academic preparation for college, North Cross fosters a culture of student safety, excellent academic preparation and regard for your fellow student. I have seen my grandchild blossom from a very shy person to one who enjoys performing on a stage and singing in the choir thanks to the well rounded educational opportunities provided to the students at North Cross. This school is definitely worth the investment for a child’s future success in becoming a successful and caring person.
I have two very different children, one who requires help for dyslexia and the other who has been reading since a young age and is very precocious. I find the school is able to make them both feel challenged and supported, the teachers are genuinely invested in their success. I see a lot of teachers at school events, and their program for learning disabilities has made such a difference in my child's and family's lives. I get the sense that the teachers really enjoy their jobs and the freedom they have here. Since there aren't SOLs here, there's a huge pressure lifted and they can make accommodations to that all kids learn at their own pace and in their own way.
